That Little Brown Bottle and Orange Box

Have a wooden cutting board? Well, if you are as fond of wooden cutting boards as much as I am you know that cleaning them, and I mean getting rid of bacteria  that can grow quickly is a hazard for your love of the wooden cutting board. After using your board, rinse with hot water, pour or spray the hydrogen peroxide over the board making sure you get the corners and the bottom. If you are going to use hp in a spray bottle  make sure the bottle is a dark color, sunlight affects the hp and that's why it is sold in the little brown bottle. Keep posted for further uses of the little brown bottle.

The Orange Box:Baking Soda
Every house should have a case of "Arm and Hammer" baking soda.We know we can bake with it, but did you know the other uses baking soda can do for your home? Use as a odor freshner in your fridge and change every 30 days or so, when finished pour down your garage disposal to help rid of stale odors.
Baking soda can also be used to clean sinks, toilets and tubs, for tough stain problems add a few drops of a lemon and watch it sizzle.(A little lesson in chemistry.) I sprinkle baking soda on my carpets before vacuuming, I let it sit for about ten minutes and then vacuum. It's non-toxic and safe for animals and children. You can find other uses of baking soda by going to http://www.armhammer.com/
